Q. How do I sign up for the Mobile Inspection system?
A: Contractors already using the county's PC Internet system can simply
use their existing account number and password. For those not currently

How do I access the Mobile Inspection site?
A: To access the site from an Internet-enabled wireless phone, go to the
following web page: www.mspection.com
Q. Can the general public or unregistered contractors
use the Mobile Inspection site?
A: Yes. All users can access permit and inspection status information
by choosing the "Guest" option. Only registered contractors
can schedule, cancel, or redo an inspection.
Q. Will I be required to log on and off each time I use
the service?
A: We've given users the option of either logging off each time they use
the service, or simply pausing their Internet activity by returning to
voice mode. Logging off the service every time provides added security
if you feel you need it. If, on the other hand, you prefer the added ease-of-use
and convenience of not having to sign on with your account and password
every time, you can just switch back and forth from Internet and voice
mode.
Q. I have an account and password but am not able to
schedule Inspections.
A: If your company has an authorization code, the Mobile Internet system
will require you to enter it in before allowing you to finish scheduling
an inspection.
Q. Is there any extra charge for using the Mobile Inspection
system?
A: The county's Mobile Inspection system is available at no charge to
qualified contractors and the general public.
Q. What wireless carrier should I use to access your
system?
A: All carriers which offer Internet phones and service are capable of
using the Mobile Inspection system. Please review your equipment manuals
or check with your service provider for instructions on to how to get
to the www.mspection.com web site.
Q. What should I do if my phone is lost or stolen?
A: If your phone is lost or stolen, the best action would be to notify
your service provider so your service can be suspended.
